Journey through the Stars

Join us for our planetarium program in the Sky Center. We will journey through the night sky, exploring the great beyond.


Ages: Ages 5 and older.  Children younger than 13 must be accompanied by an adult.

Saturday, October 14, 2017: What’s Your Universal Zip Code? If asked what your address is, you might not think outside of your state. Find out how to address your postcard if you visited another galaxy in the universe.  Register online for this program.

Saturday, November 11, 2017: The Lonely Star- Do you get the winter blues?  If so, come by the planetarium before winter kicks in and discover the lonely star of autumn called Fomalhaut.  Mysteries surround this lonely star as well as unique stories.  Register online for this program.

What is in our night sky during winter?  Come check out our night sky and discover stores of Orion and Canis Major.  Register online for this program.

Saturday, February 10, 2018: The Ingredients of Space
What is in our universe?  What kinds of wonder can we find in the sky?  Come see galaxies, planets, stars, and learn what makes up outer space.  Register online for this program.

Time: 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. 
Fee: $2 ACC resident, $3 Non-resident  
Registration:  Online registration is required and is underway for fall programs.  Winter 2017-18 online registration begins Saturday, November 11 at 9:00 a.m.  Non residents may register starting Monday, November 13 at noon.
