    Fair & Impartial Policing - learn how implicit biases can impact perception/behavior of individuals, how our agency provides officers with practial skills for producing fair, impartial, and effective policing, and the four fundamental principles by which our officers police.

    The Police Department is being assessed for re-accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA). Public comments may be made by calling 706-613-3888 X400 between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM on Monday, March 30, or you may meet with the assessors starting at 6:00 PM in Room 205, City Hall, 301 College Avenue. Comments will be limited to 10 minutes per person.
