Water Conservation and Public Utilities

  1. Call for Entries: Ripple Effect Film Project

    September 5, 2014 - January 30, 2015 @ Athens is Creating a “Ripple Effect” of Water Conservation with the Ripple Effect Film Project!

    Filmmakers of all ages and levels of experience are invited to create original short films about water conservation and water stewardship. The finalists’ films will make a splash at the Blue Carpet Premiere" on May 16, 2015.. The winning film will be announced at the “Premiere” and shown in select movie theaters.The Ripple Effect Film Project is a partnership between the Athens-Clarke County Water Conservation Office and FilmAthens.

  2. Georgia Certified Landscaper Training

    GCLP is a voluntary testing program that certifies landscapeprofessionals who have mastered a thorough knowledge and understanding of the skills required to be successful in the industry. ACC Extension and the ACC Water Conservation Office are offering a GCLP Training Program to prepare landscapers for the written and hands-on exam. The written exam will be administered on the last day of class. The hands-on exam will be at a later date.
