SPECIAL MEETING INFORMATION: Members may be selected to participate in one
or more committees based on their area of interest. Board Committees may include: Mental Health Committee, Quality Improvement Committee, Prevention Committee, Nominating Committee, Addictive Diseases Committee, and the Executive Committee.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and submit Annual Report for Region 2 Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Addictive Diseases Region.

SPECIAL SKILLS/EXPERTISE/INTERESTS:

• Appointments shall be reflective of the cultural and social characteristics, including gender, race, ethnic, and age characteristics of the regional and county populations. Each disability group shall be equitably represented and may include appointments from clinical professional associations as well as advocacy groups.
• At least approximately one-half of the appointments shall be consumers of
  disability services and family members of consumers
