Everyone loves to go on a picnic, and ACC Leisure Services has several options for your next one. Ants optional. Please call the particular facility for availabilities and to reserve a shelter.

Bishop Park - 706-613-3589
Bishop Park has one shelter available for rent, with 2 sides. Each side can seat up to 50 people, and rents for $20 - $60, depending on length of time and day of the week. A kitchen is available for an additional $50. Call 706-613-3589 to reserve and check for availability.

East Athens Community Center - 706-613-3593
East Athens Community Center has picnic shelters for rent. The shelters accommodate 25 people each. The fee is $20 for two hours during the week and $30 for two hours on holidays and weekends. Call 706-613-3593 for availability and to reserve a shelter.

Lay Park - 706-613-3596
Lay Park has one picnic shelter for rent. The shelter accommodate 25 people each. The fee is $30 an hour or $50 for the day. Call 706-613-3596 for availability and to reserve a shelter.

Memorial Park - 706-613-3580
 Memorial Park has three picnic shelters available for rent. Each shelter contains six picnic tables, two grills, and ceiling fans. To reserve a shelter, call the park office at 706-613-3580

Reese and Pope Park - 706-613-3801
Reese and Pope Park has one picnic shelter.  There is no charge and it is on a first come, first serve basis.

Sandy Creek Park - 706-613-3631
Sandy Creek Park boasts a total of nine rentable shelters/facilities. Sandy Creek Park offers the perfect place for a picnic, birthday party, family reunion or company event. The park can easily accommodate groups regardless of size.
