Athens-Clarke County can accept online payments for some items through different third party sources. ACC partnered with ezgov.com to provide its citizens with the ability to make online payments with credit and debit cards for Downtown Athens Parking System parking tickets and by electronic check for the ACC Public Utilities Water Business Office bills (for water/sewer and some ACC Solid Waste garbage collection) and ACC Tax Commissioner property taxes.

Athens-Clarke County was the 3rd county in the state and one of only a dozen in the country to provide such online transactions. Each payment center from also contains Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and additional contact forms.

Additionally, citizens can also renew their Athens-Clarke County vehicle tags online through the Georgia Department of Motor Vehicle Safety.

Online Payment Type
	EzProperty (Property Taxes) - You will need your address or tax bill number. Convenience fee of $3.00 will be assessed by ezGov. Payment is via eCheck.
	EzTicket (Parking Tickets) - You will need at least one parking ticket citation number, the vehicle license plate number and state of the license plate. Convenience fee of $2 for ticket fines less than $20 and $3 for ticket fines more than $20 (cumulative for all tickets) will be assessed by ezGov. Payment is via credit card.
	EzUtility (Water/Sewer & Some Garbage) - You will need a water/sewage/garbage bill from the Water Business Office. A convenience fee of $2.50 will be assessed by ezGov. Payment is via eCheck.
	Vehicle Tag Renewal - Through the GA Department of Revenue. Requires an RIN number from renewal notice. A web processing fee of $4.95 is assessed for each transaction, which can cover 1-50 vehicle renewals. Payment is via credit card.
