REFERENDUM STATEMENT: - Consists of the design and construction of an approximate 10,000 Square foot facility and related infrastructure. Facility will consists of two sleeping units (25 beds each for total of 50 beds) including showers and restrooms, dining unit, recreational unit and administration unit. It will also consist of utility and roadway infrastructure improvements and necessary parking. New facility is to be located on the Lexington Road Public Safety Campus. Project will also consist of the development of a Long Range Plan investigating both Pre-Trail and Post Trail system needs and capacities for the jail, probation, and other criminal justice detention centers.

• Annual Operating Expense: $ 451,300

Actions Since Last Report:

• Jail Renovation / Expansion, Judicial Outpost: The Conceptual Design Report has been completed and awaits acceptance into the SPLOST 2005 Program for funding.

• Integrated Criminal Justice Information System: This effort has been completed and awaits acceptance into the SPLOST 2005 Program for funding.
