PROJECT
CONCEPT / DESCRIPTION:
- The
Mission of this project is to acquire land adjacent to the
Athens Airport and ACC Correctional Institute for construction of
a future Commercial Terminal Facility.
- This
project will fund the acquisition of 39.23 acres of land in the purchase
amount of $935,000. $10,000 of Earnest Monies has been paid to the property
owner up front. At the time of Closing, set for August, 2000, the balance
will be provided to the existing property owner.
- To
the extent that not all of the projects funds are expended on land acquisition,
the remaining balance of funds is envisioned to be utilized for site
preparation including surveying, wetland delineation and other environmental
analysis, and preliminary design services for the Future Commercial
Terminal Facility.
