REFERENDUM STATEMENT: - This project will advance identified road projects in the ACC Commission approved Long -Range Transportation Plan and the Transportation Improvement Program through conceptual design, engineering, right-of-way acquisition and construction. Funds will be utilized as local match to leverage state and federal funds, including county contract funding. This project is a next installment of the SPLOST IV program

Group A – Jennings Mill Parkway – Phase II – Design – Task 1 – Preliminary Construction Plans
Group B – Barnett Shoals Road – Elements 6&7 – Right of Way acquisition
Group C – Barnett Shoals Road – Element 8 – On hold

Action Since Last Report:

Group A – Jennings Mill Parkway:

• ROW Acquisition is complete.
• Final Construction Plans are complete and submitted to GDOT for the County Contract Agreement.
• Final Permitting is being obtained from the Army Corp of Engineers.

Group B – Barnett Shoals Road – Elements 6&7

• An offer has been extended to Frank Bishop for the required ROW. Staff is on hold pending the development plan review.

Group C – Barnett Shoals Road – Element 8 - Forest Road Relocation

• ROW is expected to be complete in April 2006. Project is expected to be under construction in Fall 2006.
