| Project
Description: This
project consists of the demolition of old facilities and the installation
of new playscapes, a new restroom and BBQ facility, and other improvements
to the existing City Park. It will also include the development of a Overall
Masterplan for the City Park. The existing playscape that is well past its
useful life span has been demolished and the installation of two new playscapes
is set to begin. These new playscapes will incorporate play elements for
2-7 year old children and elements for 7-12 year old children including
ADA accessibility. In addition, the project will include the installation
of a permanent safety playing surface. The project will also include the
installation of security lighting, landscaping, benches, and retaining walls
or other drainage improvements as identified by the Overall Park Masterplan.
The current facilities at this park have reached the end of their useful
life span and extensive work would be necessary to make them effective for
their prescribed use. As such, the existing restrooms and BBQ shelters are
being built anew.
