PROJECT 12 - LIBRARY RESOURCE CENTERS

Campaign Statement: Purchase library materials for Athens, Winterville, and Learning Center Outreach locations.

Project Location: The Resource Centers will be located at the Lyndon Arts Center and the Sandy Creek Nature Center (ENSAT).

PROJECT CONCEPT: The SPLOST funds identified for this project are for resource materials and supporting furniture, fixtures, equipment, to be utilized at Learning Center Outreach locations. This will be based upon an overall plan that will include the identification of Learning Center Outreach locations and resources needed at all of these locations and the timetable for implementing the purchase of said materials. Two already identified locations for such materials are the Natural Science & Appropriate Technology Center and the Lyndon House Arts Center. SPLOST funds are envisioned to be expended in an effort to support the overall approved plan and Project Description. Property acquisition is not included in this project.
