Campaign Statement: Construct three indoor tennis courts for the public’s use, which will include league development, special events, and instructional classes.

Additional Funding: $ 78,000

Revised Project Budget: $378,000

Operating Budget Impact: $25,000.00/Year

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project will consist of design and construction of a Semi-Enclosed Tennis Facility over Two New Asphalt Tennis Courts. The Semi-Enclosed Tennis Facility has been designed to be a Multi-Purpose Facility that can support numerous Leisure Services Department’s planned Outdoor Activities and is 122 feet by 114 feet or 13,908 square feet. The new facility will be lighted. The Pre-Engineered Structure will utilize laminated arch beams and steel columns. Roof will be asphalt shingles with a 20-year warranty. Roof deck will be pressure treated 2" x 6’ tongue and grooved wood boards. No property acquisition is necessary for this project. The facility will be located between the existing tennis courts and the Leisure Services Dept.’s Headquarters Building (See Site Plan).
