Project 31: Neighborhood Traffic Management Program

Initial Project Statement

Funding for the Neighborhood Traffic Management program will provide for improvements to address speeding motorists, excessive traffic volumes, and related safety issues on local residential streets. Improvements may include installation of traffic calming devices and/or speed controls and roadway modifications such as speed humps, radar speed signs, curb extensions, and/or diverts in such locations as identified through the Neighborhood Traffic Management Program Policy.

Project Updates

M&C approved a revision to the Neighborhood Traffic Program requirements that should allow additional measures to be implemented. Previously on April 4, 2017, the M& C approved traffic calming plan for Brooklyn Road and Plantation Drive neighborhoods.  Those improvements have been completed.
