Program 4: Profile of a Dancer

 
This program offers intensive technical training to develop and strengthen posture, placement, flexibility, balance, coordination, and rhythm.  Students must have ballet, tap, and modern training and be recommended by an instructor or audition for this program.

Students are accepted into the accelerated programs by audition or recommendation of the East Athens Educational Dance Center teaching staff only.

Registration:  Registration takes place in person or online at accgov.com/leisure.  Spring Registration begins Saturday, February 9th at 9:00 a.m. for ACC residents.  Non-residents may register starting Monday, February 11th at noon.

Ages:  10 -18 years
Dates: Spring 2019: Mondays and Thursdays, March 4 - May 2, 2019  


Fee:$42 ACC residents, $63 non-residents. Parents are required to purchase dance wear prior to the start of class.
Time:   5:30 pm - 8:30 pm (Monday); 5:30-8:30 (Thursday)

Dress Requirement: 
Girls: Black Leotard, Skin tone transitional tights, pink ballet shoes, black jazz and tap shoes. (No Underwear)
Boys: White fitted t-shirt or tank t-shirt, black biker shorts, black ballet, jazz, and tap shoes.
Parents are required to purchase dance-wear prior to the start of class.
