• Bald Eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus) - We exhibit a male bald eagle named Honovi. He suffered a debilitating wing injury and was brought to Bear Hollow in 2006..
  • Barred Owl (Strix varia) - Our Barred Owl arrived in January of 2012. He was injured in the wild, likely hit by a car, and had to have an eye surgically removed. We known him as Hooch.
  • Great Horned Owl (Bubo virginianus) - Two great horned owls are on exhibit, Eeyore and Winnie the Whoo. Both are non-releasable due to bone and muscle injuries of the wing.
  • Red-tailed Hawk (Buteo jamaicensis)
    Our male red-tailed hawk, Ohoopee, arrived in 2003 from a veterinarian in Lithonia as an injured juvenile.
  • Wild Turkey (Meleagris gallopavo) Six hens (females) and two toms (males) share the exhibit with the white-tail deer.
  • Turkey Vulture (Cathartes aura) We exhibit one Turkey Vulture who came to us in 2013 after being found with a wing injury that was not repairable.
