This area also administers the Athens Area Master Gardener Program, Junior Master Gardener Programs at local elementary schools, and coordinates environmental education through a Master Naturalist Program. Additionally, pesticide certification credits are available to applicants. Educational portions of the Athens Farmers Market are also administered by this service area.
