Lyndsy Harrision is graduating with her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Scientific Illustration from the University of Georgia and will also obtain her Dental Management degree through the United States Air Force on May 13, 2016. Lyndsy has been in the US Air Force for eight years and received her certification as an advanced oral hygienist in 2010. She has worked as a dental assistant, hygienist, and dental office manager throughout her service in the military. She is certified in administering intravenous therapies and intubations. She has her certifications in Basic Life Support, as well as Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Her experience as a medical provider and patient care educator has exposed her to multiple variations of patient education tools and aids. Lyndsy’s current artistic work focuses on providing a graceful, delicate, and educational atmosphere for patients to explore and understand the treatment they will receive. Lyndsy and her fiancé, John, had six children between them. She is a dedicated mom who loves to travel with her family to experience different cultures and history first-hand. She enjoys hiking, surfing, exploring new places, and most importantly teaching and sharing these things with her family.
