Athens Creative Theatre (ACT) presents “The Lion in Winter” at Quinn Hall, Feb. 27 - Mar. 1

Athens Creative Theatre (ACT) presents “The Lion in Winter” at Quinn Hall at Memorial Park.

It’s Christmas time in the year 1183, and a royal family jockeys for future possession of the throne. This witty and engaging historical period piece won three Academy Awards for its 1966 screen adaption staring Peter O’Toole and Katharine Hepburn.

The performance takes place at Quinn Hall on Thursday, February 27 -Sunday, March 1. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday shows are at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday’s show at 3:00 p.m.

Tickets are now on sale at the Morton Theatre Box Office, Monday-Friday from 12:00 – 6:00 p.m. Call 706-613-3771 to reach the box office. Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for children, seniors, and students.
