Get in Shape in the New Year!

If 2016 is your year to get fit - the Leisure Services Department can help you!

East Athens Community Center and Lay Park both operate fitness rooms - free of charge and open every day of the week.  Would you prefer to be outside?  Then visit the Outdoor Fitness Zone at Trail Creek Park.  This special area, located near the splash pad, is a great place to workout year round.

Trails are a good way to get active and stay active - with walking, jogging or riding a bike.  The mountain bike trail at Trail Creek Park and the Greenway are great locations to ride a bike.

Dancing is a great activity, too!  A variety of dance programs, including Zumba, are available with online registration underway.   Don't forget about Adult Tumbling  -  a great workout and a lot of fun!
