2016 Stormwater Steward Winners

The Athens-Clarke County Stormwater Management Program is pleased to announce the winners of the 2016 Stormwater Steward Awards. Gwyneth Moody and Daniel Peiken won the Citizen Stormwater Steward Award for their swale and rain garden. The swale directs water across the property into the rain garden, encouraging infiltration. The Business Stormwater Steward Award went to Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. and Bojangles’ for the stormwater treatment train located behind the restaurant.  The awards will be presented at the GreenFest Environmental Awards Ceremony. All are invited to attend.

Congratulations to the winners, and thank you for helping keep Athens-Clarke County’s waterways clean.
