SPECIAL USE PERMIT


Request:  Approval of a special use permit is requested for a portion of the property at 1989 Jimmie Daniel Road. The parcel is split zoned Commercial-General (C-G) and Mixed Density Residential (RM-1), however the portion for this request is completely in the RM-1 zone. The request is for a congregate personal care home serving residents of 55 years or older. The facility is 3 stories on the front and 4 stories in the rear with 130 units that allow for 181 beds.

The applicant tabled their proposal prior to the February meeting in order to allow time to address comments received from staff.

REZONE


Request:  Approval of a rezone is requested for two properties at 202 & 204 Firefighter Court. The parcels are currently zoned Single Family Residential (RS-8). The request is to rezone the properties to C-N (Commercial Neighborhood) and to change the future development designation at 204 Firefighter Ct. from Community Institutional to Traditional Neighborhood . The request is to accommodate an office in the former Civitan Club building for Snowden Tatarski Real Estate Holdings, LLC..
