1. 495 WEST RUTHERFORD STREET – REAR AND UPPER LEVEL ADDITIONS


Request:  Addition to the rear and side of the home for an increased Master Bedroom suite and enlarged kitchen. Also, extension of the roof rafters to increase headroom in the new master suite. All new windows are to be wood, 6 over 1 double hung to match the existing ones, with the exception of a twin casement window in the kitchen and 6 lite windows in the new bath area. The project will also include a new entry side door, asphalt shingles, 8” hardiboard siding and a foundation of concrete block with stucco finish.

2. 167 GRADY AVENUE – MODIFICATIONS TO PREVIOUS ADDITION APPROVAL


Request:  Modify the design of a rear building addition for a residence by removing balconies and a gable. The applicants would also like to change a wood and fiberglass door to French doors. This request was initially approved in April 2016 and modified in July 2016.

3. 863 NORTH CHASE STREET – DORMERS AND REAR ADDITIONS


Request:  Add 3 dormers (one rear and two on the sides) and enclose part of the rear deck at a residence. The rear dormer would have fiber cement siding while the side dormers are proposed to have lap siding. The applicant would also like to replace windows with 6 over 6 windows as well as the front and rear doors with ones that are half glass and half wood.

Request:  Remove 3 windows, one along Nantahala and two interior to the property and all the skylights from an approved design.
