Request:  Living Hope Church is requesting to amend an existing RS-5 (PD) (Single Family Residential, Planned Development) to add a proposed youth building, pavilion and covered worship building entrance, to modify the parking lot layout, and to add a drug rehabilitation use. The request includes a binding application report, site plan, and architectural elevations as a guarantee to the community that what is proposed is to be constructed.

Request:  The purpose of this request is to seek approval of three Special Use Permits for halfway houses within an RM-1 (Mixed Density Residential) zoning district. According to Section 9-8-2 of the Athens-Clarke County Zoning and Development standards, a halfway house may be permitted within the RM-1 zone only after Special Use approval. The application report, site plan, and the architecture of the existing structure associated with this request will be binding if approved.

Request:  The purpose of this request is to rezone the .51 acre subject property from E-I (Employment Industrial) to RS-8 (Single Family Residential). Changing the zoning district from E-I to RS-8 will require an amendment to the future land use map, from Employment Center to Traditional Neighborhood, as this rezone request will no longer be compatible with the current Future Land Use map designation. The purpose of these requests is to allow for RS-8 uses on the subject property. As indicated by the application report, pending rezone approval, the applicants would like to construct a single family residence.
