1. 253 Cobb Street – Front Fencing


Request:  The COA is a request for the construction of a new 2’ high 78’ long fence along the perimeter of the front yard.

2. 609 Cobb Street – Addition to Accessory Structure


Request:  The COA is a request for the addition of dormers to an existing garage in order to build-out the attic area. To add the dormers, the existing hipped roof will be converted to a gable roof. There will be no change to the existing building footprint or ridge height.

3. 775 Boulevard – Rear Demolition and Addition


Request:  The COA is requesting approval for the removal and replacement and extension of two additions on the rear of the house. A screened in porch with an upstairs balcony will be added to the rear of the new addition. The new gable will have the same asphalt shingle roof and the shed addition will have a TPO roof. The new additions will have 12” board and baton siding. A screen porch will extend from the gable addition and will have an internal balcony from the second story accessed by a spiral stair. The windows will be replaced with double glazed wood windows with a simulated two over two light pattern. The windows in the addition would be wood windows with a one over one light pattern or a single light depending on the style of window. The doors of the addition would be full view single light wood doors.

4. 345 Hiawassee Avenue – Rear Dormer Addition


Request:  The COA is requesting approve for a 360 square foot second-story with dormer. The new addition siding will be fiber cement. The roofing will be a mix of shingles on the existing roof and thermoplastic polyyolefin low-slope roofing on the dormer roof section. The one over one windows will be wood or wood composite such as plygen 200. The additions soffit, fascia, and frieze will be fiber cement. Any cornice on the existing structure will be replaced same-with-same.

Conceptual Preliminary Design Review
 

1. 897 S. Milledge Avenue – Exterior Renovations


Request:  The Conceptual Preliminary Design proposes to replace the dormers with a new pediment spanning the width of the front porch. Drop the window sills 1’ to create larger windows. Replace vinyl windows with aluminum clad sash replacements with wood casing. A new brick walk to the front stairs and, new patio, ramp, stair and lawn configuration.
