Request:  An application has been filed requesting a variance from the Zoning Code standards for the allowable size of an accessory structure. The request is to go beyond the 25% allowance with a garage that is 36% of the primary structure. The applicant has recently filed a zoning permit which increased the primary structure’s size in order to make the new accessory structure closer to compliant with Athens Clarke County’s zoning code as suggested during a prior submission of this project.
