Request:  To form a new Planned Development on two pieces of property that formerly housed St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. The new mixed-use development involves three new, three story buildings and portions of the old church. The project will include 146 apartments in flats, townhomes, 1 and 2 bedroom units. It will also incorporate 25,000 square feet of retail or commercial space that will house a restaurant and grocery store. The development is seeking to lease units only to self-supported renters over the age of 21. The request also seeks to change the property’s zoning from C-O (Commercial Office) to C-D (WE) (PD) (Commercial Downtown, West End Design Area, Planned Development).

Request:  To amend a Planned Development from 2007 known as Winslow Park. The request is to decrease density on the 214.79 acre site while also increasing the amount of available greenspace. The reduction will be in number of residential and commercial units while also eliminating plans for a hotel. The request is to change the properties from C-G (PD) (Commercial General, Planned Development) to C-G (PD) (Commercial General, Planned Development), RM-2 (PD) (Residential Mixed Density, Planned Development) & RS-5 (PD) (Residential Single Family, Planned Development).

Request:  The neighborhood of Anna’s Walk is seeking to amend their Planned Development, currently it is served by private streets which they are asking to become dedicated Athens Clarke County Right of Way. The request allows for 50 foot Future Rights of Way and also requests to decrease front yard setbacks due to the change. This project is in conjunction with ZONE-2015-10-2225 to change the future development designation from Community Institutional to Residential Mixed Use.
