Solid Waste - Holiday Collection Schedule

  1. For ACC Solid Waste Customers Only: 2018 Thanksgiving Holiday Schedule

    November 19, 2018 - November 24, 2018

    The Athens-Clarke County Solid Waste Department will suspend garbage, recycling and leaf & limb collections on Thursday, November 22, 2018 in recognition of the Thanksgiving Holiday. If you have residential service & commercial service with us outside of downtown and your pickup day falls on Thursday, November 22, 2018, your collection will be delayed by one day. For example, Thursday will be serviced on Friday and Friday serviced on Saturday. We will resume our normal pickup schedule on Monday, November 26, 2018. Please make sure your trash and recycling roll-carts are out on the curb by 7:30 AM on your altered service pick up day. If you have commercial or residential service with us and are located within the Downtown District your service will be picked on the regular schedule. For holiday collection schedules visit www.accgov.com/solidwaste (under Holiday Interruptions) or contact the ACC Solid Waste Department at (706) 613-3501.
